Frank Winkler is a neurologist and professor of experimental neuro-oncology at Heidelberg University and the German Cancer Research Center. Clinically, he focuses on the functioning and diseases of the brain, and scientifically, he studies how our nervous system controls tumor diseases. He was awarded the Brain Prize in 2025 for his work.
